Classic Spaghetti Bolognese

Homemade Spaghetti Bolognese cooked in less than an hour! This classic dish is full of flavour; learn how to make your own sauce in a couple of easy steps.

Cooking time: 40-45 minutes
Ingredients:
Beef mince
·         Olive oil
·         Black pepper
·         Dark soy a sauce
·         1 tin of chopped tomatoes
·         1 spring onion
·         1 garlic glove
·         Red pepper segment
·         White Onion segment
·         Spaghetti
·         Salt
·         Red wine

Cooking:
  1. Start by washing your beef mince with some cold water, drain this once finished.  
  2. Heat your pot with some olive oil. Once heated add chopped onions, red pepper, spring onion and garlic glove and beef mince. Sprinkle your beef mince with some black pepper and dark soy a sauce and allow mince to fry for 15 minutes.
  3. After 15 minutes has passed add the chopped tomato tin to your mince and stir well.
  4. Add 3-4 caps of red wine to your beef mince, cover the pot and allow it to cook for a further 30 minutes. Regularly check and stirring your mince, add water if your mince sauce is drying out.
  5. In a pot of boiling water with a little salt add your spaghetti to the pot and allow spaghetti to cook. (Follow the instructions on the back of your spaghetti packet for cooking time)
  6. In about 45 minutes your Bolognese should be cooked. Top your meal with some parsley and some Parmesan cheese.
