Avocado breakfast

So you are staying away from all foods high in fat whilst dieting right? Well put that on hold and enjoy eating avocados, although avocados are high in fat the majority of its fat is monounsaturated which is great for your heart and body. Other foods such as Nuts, Oils (sunflower, olive, peanut, sesame) and peanut butter also contain monounsaturated fats. Despite this they also contain vitamins and fiber help improving your digestion.
Eggs are great sources of protein why not try an egg a day?

Cook time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
·         Seeded Bread
·         Butter ( optional)
·         1 Egg
·         Avocado
·         Black pepper
·         Parsley

Cooking
  1. Start by slicing your avocado in half and scooping out the insides into a bowl to mash.
  2. Turn your stove on to a medium heat and add olive oil to the pan. Crack your egg and allow your egg to fry. (Time is dependent on how you like your eggs)
  3. Toast your bread and butter (optional)
  4. Spread the avocado on the bread and then place your fried egg on top.

Finishing touches

Sprinkle with black pepper or parsley to add flavour.

You do not have to just fry your egg! Why not try poached egg, scrambled egg or slice your boiled egg.
