Tagliatelle
Carbonara
Cook time: 30-40 minutes
Ingredients:

Tagliatelle pasta
·
Olive oil
·
Salt
·
Black pepper
·
White wine
·
Bacon rashes
·
Onion segment
·
2 Garlic gloves
·
Parmesan cheese/ Cheese
·
1 Egg
·
Fresh Cream
Cooking
- Heat your pan with olive oil on a medium heat, once heated slice up your onion segment, garlic gloves, bacon rashes and place in your pan to fry for 5-10 minutes. Cover this with some fine black pepper.
- After 5-10 minutes has passed add your white wine to your pan just enough to just cover your bacon, onions and garlic gloves. Turn down your fire to a low heat and allow this to simmer another 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile crack your egg into a bowl and whisk, once whisked you will need to add 2-3 spoons of cream and some Parmesan or regular cheese. Mix these together and get ready to add them at a later stage.
- Tip: keep checking your frying pan that’s simmering on the stove
- Add Tagliatelle to a pot of boiling water with salt and a dash of olive oil and allow pasta to cook. (Cooking time for Tagliatelle pasta will vary check the instructions on the back of the packet.)
- Once pasta is cooked, drain your pasta and add this to your frying pan with your bacon, onion, garlic gloves and wine. You will also need to add your bowl with egg and cream mix and allow this is cook for a further 5 minutes.
Nearly finished:
Add parsley over your pasta to add a little flavour.
