Honey Salmon and Roasted Broccoli

Salmon is a great source of protein it also contains omega-3 fatty acids which are vital for your growth and development. Other omega 3 fatty acids can be found in foods such as tuna, nut oil and other fish. Omega 3 fatty acids can also be seen to lower blood pressure. 
Tired of steaming your broccoli? Roast them with some garlic and lemon for a crunchy side dish.

Cook time: 20-30 minutes
Ingredients:
·         2 boneless skinned salmons
·         1 spring onion
·         1 red pepper
·         ¼ onion segment
·         Honey
·         Broccoli
·         Olive oil
·         1 garlic segment
·         1 lemon

Cooking

Salmon
  1. Heat your pan and add a little olive oil, place your salmon skin down and allow it to fry for 5 minutes.
  2. Add your chopped pepper, onion, and spring onion to your pan and allow it to fry.
  3. Allow your salmon to fry for a further 15 minutes flipping it over every so often.


Roasted Broccoli
  1. Wash and slice your broccoli florets into smaller pieces and sprinkle black pepper lemon juice and olive oil, place your broccoli florets on a tray and into your oven at 200c for 10-14 minutes maximum.


Nearly finished
  1. Your salmon should have cooked by now once it is cooked drizzle some honey covering your salmon.
  2. Sprinkle some parsley over your food to add some flavour.
